Al Shafa Clinic

You can find Al Shafa Clinic on the ground floor of the Swagat Building over in Naya Nagar. We’re right near Narender Park, so there’s always people walking by. It’s a small clinic, just a few rooms where we see patients throughout the day. Mira Road is a busy area, so we get a lot of walk-ins who just need a quick checkup or some medicine for a cold. The waiting area has a few benches, and they’re usually occupied by people from the local apartments. We’ve been here for a while, so we’ve seen kids grow up and start bringing their own children in. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the desk is cluttered with papers, but we know where everything is. We don't use a lot of fancy medical jargon when we talk to people. We just try to explain things in a way that makes sense. Sometimes the noise from the park or the street gets inside, but we don’t mind it much anymore. It’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We open up in the morning and stay until the last person is seen. It’s a simple way to run a clinic, and it seems to work for the folks around here. We don't need much more than our tools and a bit of space to work.
