Akshar Garments Exports & Job Works

We are situated on the second floor of the Machimar Society, which is near the I. T. I. on Mahim Road in the Thane district. It’s a decent spot, though the stairs can be a bit of a workout when we’re carrying heavy bags of materials. Being Akshar Garments Exports & Job Works means our schedule is usually dictated by the deadlines for the export orders we handle. The room is usually filled with the sound of sewing machines and people talking over the noise. We do a lot of job work for other companies too, so there are always different types of garments coming through our doors. From our windows, we can see the traffic on Mahim Road. The I.T.I. nearby brings a lot of young people to the area, so it feels quite lively. Inside, things are more focused. We have long tables for inspection and packing. It’s not a polished environment; there are stacks of boxes everywhere and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. But it’s where we work every day, and it suits us just fine. We have a small team, and we all know our roles. We don’t really bother with marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. We just take the contracts, do the sewing, and make sure the finished pieces are ready for the trucks to pick up.
