Our facility is at 710 Palej GIDC. It is out in the industrial zone, which is the best place for a business like Gujarat Agro Energy. We work with materials related to the agricultural sector, turning them into energy products. It is the kind of work that leaves you tired at the end of the shift. The GIDC is a massive place, but once you get to our unit, you will see it is just a bunch of us working the machines. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We mostly deal with other businesses and farmers who know what we do. The rhythm of our work follows the seasons. When the harvest is in, we are flat out busy, and when it is quiet, we spend our time on maintenance. We have a small office where we handle the invoices and the phone calls, but most of the action happens out on the floor. Palej is a quiet town compared to the big cities, and we like that. It allows us to focus on our work without too many distractions. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything.
