Abs Travels

We are located at No. 24 on Ramarsamy Kovil Street here in Tiunelveli. It’s a regular street with a lot of local character, and we’ve been here in this office for a good number of years. Most of our day is spent on the phone or at the computer, looking for tickets and organizing trips for people. We don't have a big fancy office with bright lights. It’s just a couple of desks, some chairs for people to sit while they wait, and a lot of maps and schedules pinned to the walls. We started this because we liked helping our neighbors figure out the best way to get from one place to another. Tiunelveli is our home, and we know the travel needs of the people here pretty well. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when a bus is late or a flight gets canceled, and we have to spend the afternoon making things right. But mostly, it’s just steady work. We don't use any slick marketing talk or try to sell people things they don't need. We just find the tickets and handle the paperwork. People stop by to chat even when they aren't traveling, which is nice. It’s a small, local operation, and we like it that way. We just keep our schedules updated and wait for the next person to walk through the door with a plan for a journey. We like the challenge of finding a good route for a difficult trip.
