M & M Auto Distributors

People usually find us tucked away on Karuvelil Road in Palarivattom. It’s a bit of a maze back here in Mamandalam sometimes, but we’ve been at this spot for a good while now. M & M Auto Distributors is mostly just a bunch of us surrounded by shelves of parts and old delivery slips. You’ll probably see a few delivery bikes out front if you stop by. We spend most of our mornings checking what came in and what needs to go out to the local shops around Ernakulam. The phone rings a lot, usually someone looking for a specific bolt or a headlight assembly that’s hard to find. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just some desks and a lot of grease-stained catalogues. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it tough for the trucks to get in, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just the one people call when they're stuck. We have coffee in the back room that’s usually too strong, and there’s always a pile of paperwork on the counter that needs filing. That’s just how it goes here. Most of the guys have been working here since they were young. It’s a loud place, especially when the shutters go up in the morning. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready. It’s simple work, but it keeps the cars on the road, I guess.
