Bm Scrap Traders

We are located at No. 32/1753-G on Pipeline Road, right near the Byepass Junction in Palarivattom. Cochin is a busy place, and there’s always plenty of waste to go around. Bm Scrap Traders is basically a large yard where we collect all sorts of metal and old materials. It’s not a clean job. We’re usually covered in rust or dust by the end of the day. We have scales to weigh everything that comes in on the trucks. People bring us old pipes, car parts, and bits of construction steel. We sort through it all by hand. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. The noise of the bypass is always in the background. We have a small shack that serves as the office, but we’re mostly outside. We’ve been at this location for quite a few years. It’s a straightforward business. We buy what people don't want and sell it to the people who can melt it down. Some days are slow, and we just sit by the gate watching the cars go by. Other days, we have a line of vehicles waiting to unload. We don't have any fancy equipment, just some cutters and our hands. It’s how we’ve always done it. We know the value of what others call junk. It’s hard work and the weather can be a problem, but it’s what we know how to do best.
