Narmada Pipes

If you know the Akeshan rail crossing, then you know exactly where Narmada Pipes is located. We are right near Bod Uppal. The trains go by pretty often and the whole place vibrates a little, but we don't even really notice it anymore after all this time. It’s actually a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We’ve been at this specific spot for a while now. The yard is usually full of materials and sometimes it’s a bit of a mess, especially when it’s been raining and the ground gets soft. We spend our days dealing with various people coming from the city or the nearby villages. It’s a lot of back and forth. We don’t have a fancy website or any of that modern stuff. If someone needs something, they usually just show up at the gate or give us a quick call. We have a small office tucked in the corner where we keep our records and a few chairs. It’s mostly just us and the sounds of the crossing bells. Sometimes we have to wait for the gates to open to get our delivery trucks out onto the main road, which can be a bit of a pain, but that’s just part of life here. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the trains. We just focus on keeping the inventory right so we have what people need. It’s a simple operation, really.
