Being out here in Village-Bantiwada means things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Nagdev Suppliers has been part of this landscape in Banaskantha for some time now. You can find us easily enough if you are coming through the Taluka Distt area. Most days start with the sound of the birds and then the sound of a tractor or a truck pulling up. We spend a lot of time outside. The weather gets really hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early if we can. My hands are usually rough from handling all the supplies we keep here. It is just the way it goes. We do not have any big signs or bright lights. People just know Nagdev Suppliers because they live nearby or their cousins told them about us. We talk about the rain, the crops, and whatever else is happening in the village while we work. It’s a simple life. Sometimes a customer wants to stay and drink tea, and we usually have a pot going somewhere. We aren't trying to be anything special. We are just here doing our job and making sure the supplies are ready when someone needs them. It gets quiet once the sun goes down. We pack up our tools and close the doors, thinking about what needs to be done the next morning. It is good to work where people know your name and you know theirs.
