Kidney Care Hospital & Urology Research Center is situated in the Tanu complex. Most people around here know where we are because we are right opposite the Movie World Theater on College Road. It’s a pretty lively area, especially in the evenings when people are heading to the movies. You can always see the posters for whatever is playing right across from our windows. College Road itself is always packed with students and commuters, so there is a constant stream of bikes and cars passing by. Our spot in Tanu complex isn't the biggest, but we make it work for the research and the hospital side of things. The research center part has a lot of paperwork and old journals piled up in the back rooms. The hospital area is where the main activity is every day. We have the usual waiting area which gets crowded around noon. The walls are a neutral color, and we have a few old posters about health stuff hanging up. It’s not a shiny new building, but it’s sturdy enough. The stairs are a bit narrow, so people usually crowd around the lift when they arrive. We’ve become a bit of a landmark ourselves just because of how long we’ve been facing the theater. On weekends, the traffic on College Road gets even worse, but we are used to the noise by now. We just focus on the work at hand and try to keep things moving along for everyone who comes in.
