Jyotindra Group

The Jyotindra Group operates out of our own compound, located about 4 K.M. down the Palanpur Ahmedabad Highway. It’s a large plot of land where we have several different things going on at once. Being on the highway means we get a lot of dust from the passing trucks, but it’s the best spot for moving goods across the region. We have a few warehouses and a main office building that’s seen better days, but it serves its purpose. Most of the day is spent managing shipments and keeping track of the inventory coming in and out of the gates. It’s a family-run feel, even though we’ve grown over the years. You’ll often find the supervisors walking the grounds with clipboards, shouting over the noise of the traffic. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing. Our desks are old wood and the chairs squeak, but we get the work done. People know us by the big gates on the highway. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we’ve seen the road change from a small path to a major route. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when the heat hits in the afternoon, but we have a good group of people here. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the trucks are loaded right before they head out to wherever they are going.
