Id Card Maker

Our small place, Id Card Maker, is located up on the first floor in Hari Om Market. If you are near Guru Nanak Chowk, you can probably find us without much trouble. We spend most of our time sitting at the machines getting cards ready for people. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it keeps us away from the noise of the main road downstairs. We started this because we saw everyone needed cards for work or school. It isn't a big office, just enough space for our equipment and a couple of chairs for people to wait. Sometimes the printer acts up, and we have to fix it, which takes a bit of time. We just do the work as it comes in. Most of the folks who come here are from around the neighborhood or small offices nearby. We try to get things done fairly fast so nobody has to wait too long in the heat. Guru Nanak Chowk is a busy spot, so there is always something happening outside the window. We’ve been at this for some time now and know most of the regulars. It is a simple setup, nothing too fancy, just us making sure the text and photos on the cards look okay before we hand them over. We don't have a big team, just a few of us working together every day in Hari Om Market. It feels good to finish a batch and see them ready.
