Ambika Industries

Ambika Industries is situated at the Highway Char Rasta, right behind the pick-up stand. We are part of the Ambika Vijay Engg Works building, which is directly opposite the collage. Being right on the highway means there is a constant stream of traffic and noise. It’s a very active spot, and we are right in the middle of it. Our work is mostly industrial, so the building is filled with heavy machinery and the smell of oil. It’s not a place for fancy clothes or polished floors. We spend our days on the shop floor, making sure everything is running like it should. The pick-up stand brings a lot of people near our gates, so it never feels lonely. The people at the collage across the road are always coming and going too. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. There isn't a lot of talk during the day because the machines are so loud. We just get on with the tasks we have. Sometimes the heat from the highway and the machines makes it a bit tough, but we are used to it by now. We don’t have any marketing people or a big office staff. It’s just the ones doing the work and the ones managing the orders. We’ve been at this Char Rasta location for many years now. It’s a good, solid place to be and we plan to stay here, just doing what we know how to do.
