Royal Manufactures

The workshop for Royal Manufactures is right on the Highway Road in Kanodar. Since we are near the highway, there is a constant rumble of big trucks passing by at all hours. It becomes like background noise after a few weeks of working here. The space is mostly open to let the air circulate because the machines generate a lot of heat. We have some old wooden benches where we sit for our breaks and the tea guy comes by every morning around ten. Kanodar is a place where people know how to build things, so we fit right in with the other shops nearby. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few old photos pinned up. The floor is mostly covered in scraps and dust from whatever we are making that week. We spend a lot of time on our feet and our boots get worn out pretty fast. It isn't a glamorous job and we don't pretend it is. We just focus on the task in front of us and try to get it done right so we don't have to redo it later. Sometimes customers stop by while they are traveling on the highway just to see what we are doing. We show them around without making a big deal of it. It’s just a honest day's work for us here on the road.
