Balaji Medicines. Our shop is at number 24 in the Shivaji Market. We are located right near the Pharma Complex in Palampur, Gujarat. Being so close to the complex is handy because that’s where all the main activity is. Shivaji Market is a place where you can find almost anything, and we’ve been here for several years now. It gets quite loud with the shoppers and the vehicles passing through the market area. We have a regular flow of people coming in and out throughout the day. The space inside is mostly taken up by shelves of medicines and the counter where we handle everything. It’s a practical setup, not designed for looks but for getting the job done. We’ve gotten to know the other shop owners in Shivaji Market pretty well. Sometimes we stand outside and watch the world go by during the slower hours. Palampur is a decent place to work, especially with the pharma community being so concentrated around here. We don’t use any corporate talk or big promises. We just provide what’s needed and keep our records straight. The building itself is old, but it’s sturdy enough for our needs. We like the hustle and bustle of the market life. It makes the day go by faster when there’s always something happening right outside the door. We just focus on our customers and our stocks every single day.
