Skg Hospital

Skg Hospital is right on Chinnamani Street, number 19/1, in the Pudhunagar area of Thirumangalam. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We’ve got people coming in from all over the neighborhood. The street outside can get a bit crowded with scooters and people walking to the local shops, but inside we try to keep things orderly. We aren’t a giant chain of hospitals, just this one place where we know most of the people who walk through the door. The doctors here stay busy, often running from one room to the next, but they always take a minute to explain things to the families. We have a few rooms for people who need to stay overnight, and we try to make sure they’re comfortable even if it’s just a hospital bed. Our staff is mostly from around Thirumangalam, so we speak the local language and understand what people need. We spend our days checking blood pressure, handing out medicine, and making sure everyone is being looked after. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s needed. Sometimes we run out of chairs in the waiting room when it’s flu season, but everyone understands. We just keep working through the list of patients until the sun goes down. It’s a local place for local people, and we’re fine with that. We just do our best at this spot on Chinnamani Street every single day to keep things running.
