You can find Shv Traders at 45/9, Main Road in Oddanchatram. We are right near the Nspm Rice Mill, which makes it easy for people to find us. Dealing in trade means our days are mostly about moving boxes and checking the quality of whatever we are buying or selling that week. Oddanchatram is a hub for a lot of goods, so there are always trucks parked along the Main Road, making things a bit cramped. We have a small crew of guys who help with the heavy lifting because my back isn't as strong as it was ten years ago. It’s a lot of paperwork, honestly. Keeping track of what came in and what went out takes up most of my time at the desk. The office is just a corner of the warehouse with a fan and a calendar on the wall. We get a lot of dust from the road and the nearby mill, so we are constantly dusting off the equipment. Sometimes the prices for things change overnight and we have to adjust quickly, which can be stressful. But we’ve been at this for a while, so we know how to handle the ups and downs of the market.
