Live Exports

Our place is on Pattathu Vinayagar Kovil Street. It’s right near the Pattathu Temple, so you can usually hear the bells or the morning prayers if you’re here early enough. We do export work. Most of the time we are busy with packing or checking the quality of whatever is going out that week. It’s a lot of back and forth with trucks and logistics companies. The street is a bit narrow, so it can be a struggle when the big shipments arrive at the door. We’ve been at number 23 for quite some time now. The locals around here know us well. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We just want to get the orders right and out on time. It gets really hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the old fans going full blast. We handle various goods and make sure they are packed properly for the long journey ahead. It’s interesting to think about where all this stuff ends up. One day it’s here in the warehouse, and the next it’s on a ship going somewhere far away. We keep things pretty simple. No big meetings or anything like that. Just us working through the list of things to do. If someone asks what we do, we just tell them we move things from here to there. It’s honest work. The temple nearby gives the whole area a certain feel that we like. We just stick to our routine and finish the paperwork before heading home for the day.
