Karuvapillai Rajendiran Stores

Karuvapillai Rajendiran Stores is situated at No 34/89 on Visilampatti Road in Tirumangalam. We are right near the Madhura Bakery, so you can often smell the fresh cakes and bread while you are shopping here. Our store is quite old, and we have been serving the people in Tirumangalam for a long time. We carry mostly traditional grocery items and things needed for cooking. The shelves are made of old wood and they are packed with tins and bags. It’s a family-run business, and we take pride in knowing where everything comes from. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or have big posters everywhere. People come to us because they know we have the basic things they need. The shop can be a bit cramped, especially when we get a fresh shipment of grain or pulses in big sacks. We have to move things around just to make a path for the customers. During the day, it’s mostly housewives coming in, and in the evening, the men stop by on their way home from work. We listen to the local news and talk about the weather with whoever comes in. It’s a slow-paced life, but we like it that way. We don't want to turn into a big supermarket; we just want to keep things the way they have always been.
