Karmuhil Organic Farms

If you take the Rajapalayam Main Road, you'll find us out here in the Thirumangalam Taluk area. Karmuhil Organic Farms isn't some massive factory operation. It's a farm, plain and simple. We spend most of our time out in the dirt, making sure things are growing right. The sun can be pretty hot on the main road, but we stay at it. We chose this spot because the land seemed right for what we wanted to do. There’s a lot of traffic passing by on the way to Rajapalayam, but it stays quiet enough back where the plants are. We don't use a lot of fancy machinery or chemicals here. That’s not how we do things. It’s more about manual labor and paying attention to the soil. Some days are longer than others, especially when the harvest comes around. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just want to grow things the old way. People stop by sometimes just to see what’s coming up. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. You just walk up and talk to whoever is around. It’s a practical way to live. Thirumangalam is a decent place to be based. The road makes it easy for us to move stuff around when we need to. Mostly, it’s just us and the land, trying to keep things moving forward day by day. It’s hard work, but we like it and it feels right.
