Jothi Flour Mill

Jothi Flour Mill is tucked away in G R Pet, over in Oddanchatram. Most people in this neighborhood know us just by the sound of our motors. We aren't a big industrial operation. It is more of a local shop where people bring their small bags of grain to get them ground into flour. The space is a bit tight, especially when there are a few customers waiting at the same time. We have been in G R Pet for quite a while. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the actual work to worry about how the place looks. We care more about the quality of the grind than the decor. It’s a dusty job, and by the end of the shift, we’re usually covered in white from head to toe. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. People come to us because they know we do a decent job and we don't overcharge. It’s a simple way to make a living. We see the same faces every week, which is nice. It makes the work feel more like we are helping our neighbors. If you are walking through Oddanchatram, you will find us easily enough. We keep things plain and simple, just the way we like it. There is no need for anything more than that in this line of work.
