Dawood Chemicals

You can find us at Dawood Chemicals, located at 109/36 on Kottai Mettu Street. We have been working out of this building for a long time. It is an old part of town, and the street is quite narrow. We specialize in supplying various chemicals that local workshops and small factories need for their daily operations. This isn't a very clean or glamorous job. There is usually a bit of a chemical smell in the air and the floor is often stained from moving containers around. We don't have a fancy front office or any secretaries. If you need something, you just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the counter. We keep our records in big paper ledgers because that is the way we have always done it. Getting the delivery trucks down Kottai Mettu Street is a bit of a challenge, so we have to be careful when we are loading and unloading the drums and sacks. We know all the other shop owners on this block. It is a hard-working neighborhood and we fit right in. We aren't trying to be a huge corporation with branches everywhere. We just want to keep supplying the local guys with what they need to do their own work. The days are long and the work is physically demanding, but we are satisfied with what we’ve built here. It is just a regular local business run by regular people.
