The building has been here for a long time and we’ve been operating out of this space for quite a while now. The clinic is basically just a few rooms where we see patients who aren't feeling well. We don't have those big electronic screens or fancy decorations. Instead, we have some old wooden benches and a clock on the wall that ticks a bit too loudly when it’s quiet in the afternoons. Most of our visitors are from the nearby houses in the Tirumangalam area. They walk over when they have a cold or a fever, or maybe just need a quick consultation about something bothering them. We know a lot of the families around here because they've been coming to us for years. It’s a quiet routine we have. We show up, unlock the shutters, and wait for the first person to knock. Sometimes it’s busy and sometimes we just sit and talk among ourselves while waiting for someone to come in. The Ravi Building is a solid old place, and we’ve made our little corner of it as comfortable as we can without making it look like a corporate office. It’s just a local clinic for regular people who live nearby.
