Amman Earth Movers

We are based in Amman Towers on Dindigul Road. Amman Earth Movers has been a part of Andavar Nagar for quite a while now. Being on a main road like this means there’s always traffic and people stopping by to ask about rates or machine availability. We don't have a big corporate office with fancy furniture; it’s just a practical space at 326 where we manage the bookings and keep the keys. Most of our gear is parked out at different sites or in a lot we use nearby. I spend most of my time on the phone coordinating where the tractors and JCBs need to go next. It’s a lot of calls and checking on fuel levels and operator schedules. My brother and I started this because we saw all the new construction happening toward Dindigul and knew there was work for those who wanted it. The dust is a constant companion in this line of business. We don't have any flashy marketing stuff or a website. Our name is on the side of the machines and that’s usually enough for people to find us. Sometimes the work is slow, and we just sit in the shop and drink tea, but usually, it’s one thing after another. It’s a tough business with high costs for parts and diesel, but we enjoy the challenge of a difficult dig. We’re just regular folks doing a job that needs doing. No frills.
