Ruprel Construction is based in the village of Dangwar, which is part of the Hussainabad block in Palamu. Our office is at Mahesh Mehta’s place right there in the village. It’s a rural setting, which means our construction work is often different from what you’d see in a big city. We deal with local materials and local people. Things move a bit slower out here in Dangwar, but we still manage to get a lot done. The roads can be a challenge, especially when we are trying to move heavy equipment or get a load of bricks delivered during the wet season. We don't have a team of people in suits. We are usually in our work clothes, covered in a bit of dust from the site. Palamu is a place where you have to be tough because the heat can be really something else in the summer months. We just work around it, starting very early or finishing late. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We focus on the practical side of building, making sure things are sturdy and done the way they were supposed to be. There’s no need for us to use complicated language to explain what we do. We build stuff. Whether it’s small repairs or bigger structures, we just take it one project at a time. It’s a quiet life in the village, and we are happy to be doing our work right here where we live.
