We are based in the village of Belwatiker, which is part of the Daltonganj area in Palamu district, Jharkhand. The office is actually part of the B.K. Srivastava premises. It’s a very local feel here. We’re representing Larsen And Toubro Ltd in a place that’s far from the big urban centers. The pace of life is a bit slower here, but the work is still steady every day. We have a few desks set up in a room that looks out towards the village road. You can hear the cows and the occasional tractor going by while we’re typing up our reports. It’s a very basic setup, just the essentials really. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a security guard at the door. If someone comes by, they just walk in and say hello.
