Rida Traders

We set up Rida Traders in the Bapu Ji Nagar area because it’s a good spot with plenty of people walking by. It is a small trading shop where we sell various items that people in the neighborhood need. I wouldn't call it a big warehouse or anything, just a regular place with shelves full of stock. My brother and I run the place most days. We open up early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. It gets a bit crowded in here when the new deliveries arrive because we don't have a lot of storage space. We have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes but we know where everything is. We don't do any fancy marketing or have a website. People just see our sign when they are walking through the market and come in to see what we have. Sometimes we trade in grains, other times it’s household goods, it just depends on what is available and what people are asking for. The floor is concrete and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it serves its purpose. We like being part of the Bapu Ji Nagar community. You meet all sorts of people every day. It’s not an easy life standing on your feet all day, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy.
