Zains Eye Hospital LLP is located at the VPM Complex in Manjakkal. That is over in the Cherpulassery area of Palakkad. We are basically on the road toward Ottappalam. It’s an eye clinic where we spend our days checking people's vision and dealing with glasses or whatever else is bothering their eyes. We aren't part of some giant national chain, just a local hospital in the Kerala-679503 zip code. Being in the VPM Complex makes it easy for people to find us since it’s a well-known building in Manjakkal. We see a lot of older folks from the villages around Palakkad who have trouble seeing as they get up in age. We also get kids who need their first pair of spectacles. The staff here is mostly local people who speak the language and know the area well. It can get a bit crowded in the waiting room on Saturdays, but that’s just how it goes. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just open the doors, turn on the equipment, and start seeing the patients who are waiting outside. It’s practical work. Most of our day is spent looking through lenses and explaining things to people. We’ve been part of the Cherpulassery community for a while now and we plan on staying right here in this complex for the foreseeable future. We just do the work one patient at a time.
