Yarathingal Traders

Started out in Lakkidi quite some time back. It is a quiet enough part of Palakkad but the road gets busy with trucks sometimes. We spend most of our mornings just moving things around the yard and checking what came in the day before. Dealing with supplies and trading means there is always paperwork that never seems to end. The office isn't very big and it gets dusty when the wind picks up from the fields nearby. We mostly see local contractors and people from around the neighborhood who need stuff for their houses. It is not a fancy setup. We have some old chairs for when people want to sit and talk about their requirements. Sometimes the rain here in Palakkad is so heavy we can't get much done outside, so we just wait it out. It is just a few of us working here. We try to keep the stock organized but it’s a constant battle. Usually, the phone starts ringing early and doesn't stop until we close up for the evening. If you are looking for the place, it's right on the main stretch of Lakkidi. We don't have a big sign but people know where the gate is. It's just a regular business keeping things moving for the local builds. Nothing more to it than that really. Just a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the orders are ready when someone comes to pick them up in their pickup truck.
