Wick Design Studio Private Limited

Wick Design Studio Private Limited is based out of Thachamoochikal House. It is located in Maruvapadam, which is a part of Kannadi in Palakkad. It is a bit of a trek if you aren't from around this part of the world, but it is a very quiet and peaceful place to work. We really like the silence we get here in Palakkad. The studio is basically just a few rooms where we get all our designing work done. It is not a fancy glass office building in the middle of a busy city. It is a house, which makes it feel much more comfortable and lived-in for us. We have been here in Kerala for a good while now. Most of the neighbors know who we are. We don't really do any big advertising or anything like that. Most people end up finding us through simple word of mouth. It is a very straightforward way of running a business. We sit at our desks, drink plenty of tea, and just work. Sometimes the rain in Palakkad gets really heavy and we just stop to watch it from the windows for a minute. It is a nice environment to be in. We aren't trying to be the next big global brand. We just want to do good work for the people who actually need it. Thachamoochikal House has a lot of character. It has that old-school feel that you just don’t get in these new modern offices. We like the history.
