We are right across from the Ottapalam railway station, on the first floor of building 25-490/10. It’s a very noisy spot because you can always hear the trains coming and going. That’s actually helpful because people coming from other parts of Palakkad or even further away can find us the moment they step off the platform. We do a lot of education and immigration work here. It’s a lot of back and forth with forms and checking visa requirements for different countries. The office usually has a few people waiting around, especially in the mornings. We have these big windows that look out towards the station, and sometimes we just watch the crowds while we work. It’s a lot of sorting through papers and helping people understand what they need to do for their move. Ottapalam is a good place to be, even if it gets very humid in the summer months. We keep a lot of files on the shelves, and it seems like the pile never gets smaller. Students come in with their parents, and we sit around the table to go over their choices. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We just talk like normal people and try to get the work done. Some days the power goes out, and we just have to wait for it to come back while we chat for a bit with whoever is there. We just keep on working.
