Vijay Interior Designers

Out here in Aanapara, specifically near Thottupalam, you’ll find our little office for Vijay Interior Designers. It’s a bit of a different pace compared to the big cities. We spend a lot of our time traveling between different sites in the local area. When we are actually in the office, we’re usually surrounded by wood samples, laminates, and sketches. We don't have a big fancy showroom. Most of our work is shown through the projects we've finished for people nearby. Our team is small, just a few of us who know our way around a tape measure and a saw. We talk to people about their kitchens or how they want their living rooms to feel. It’s very much a hands-on business. Sometimes we’re at the shop, sometimes we’re at a client’s house till late evening. We don't use much corporate talk because we’re just locals ourselves. People around Thottupalam know us by name, which is how we like it. We take things one day at a time and try to make sure we don't make mistakes with the measurements. It’s a simple life, working with our hands and helping people fix up their homes. The weather here can be a bit unpredictable, so we often have to adjust our schedules, but we always manage to get the job done in the end. It's just honest, local work that we've been doing for years without much change.
