Valluvanad Hospital

Valluvanad Hospital is over in Kanniampuram, which is in the Ottapalam area of Palakkad. It is a fairly large place for this part of town. The building sits back a bit from the road, surrounded by some trees and greenery, which is common for Palakkad. We have different sections for different types of medicine. The hallways are wide and we have a lot of windows to let in the natural light. It can get very humid here, so we keep the fans running all day long. We have a team of doctors and nurses who live in and around Ottapalam. The hospital has been around for many years, so most people in the district know where we are. We have a small canteen where the staff and visitors can get some tea and snacks. The furniture is a bit worn out, but it is comfortable enough. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the people who come through our doors every day. Sometimes it is very quiet, and other times we are completely full. We handle everything from routine checkups to emergency cases that come in late at night. It is a steady place to work, and we just try to keep things running smoothly for the community. The evenings are usually the busiest when people are done with their own work and come in for appointments.
