V Square is where we set up shop, right across from the ITI in Kanjikode. Anyone living in Palakkad knows the sun can be really something else during the day. Keeping the place cool and ready for people is what we do most of the time at Vaiga Hospitality. We aren't a big company with many locations; it's just this one spot on the main road. The traffic passes by all day, and we have gotten used to the noise of the trucks. Most of our team is from the local area and they just walk over to work. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate rules to follow. Usually, we just focus on the basics like making sure the rooms are clean and the fans are spinning. Sometimes we sit outside when the work is done and just watch the street. Kanjikode has its own pace, and we just try to go along with it. We don't really do marketing or anything like that. If people need a place to stay while they are in town for work or to visit the ITI, they usually find us. It’s a simple setup, and we like it that way. We just keep the doors open and do our best to be decent to everyone who stops in. It’s not a complicated business, just a few people working hard in a busy part of town. We are just regular people trying to make a living here.
