People usually find us on the Main Road in Olavakkod, Palakkad. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. We’ve been running V And V Organic Products for a while now. Most days start early with us checking the stock and getting things ready. We carry items that aren't full of chemicals because that’s what we prefer to use in our own homes too. It’s not a huge place, just a regular shop where you can walk in and see what we have on the shelves. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when the delivery trucks arrive, but we manage somehow. My cousin helps out in the afternoons when the sun is high. We don't do much fancy advertising or anything like that. People just know us from the neighborhood and stop by. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a product isn't good enough for my own family, I don't put it out for sale to others. Palakkad weather can be tough on some of the fresh items, so we keep a close eye on everything every day. You’ll probably see me sitting near the counter most of the time. We talk to the local farmers quite a bit to see what’s coming in next. It’s just how we do things here. We aren't trying to be the biggest store around, just a place where you get real stuff. The floor is worn from people walking in, but that’s fine. It feels like home.
