Tinmber Land

Our place is known as Tinmber Land, and we operate out of the Kayvee Sawmill in Vallapuzha. We’re situated quite close to the local Majid, so the area is usually peaceful, except for the sound of our saws. It’s a green part of the country, and we fit right in with all the trees around. We spend our days taking in logs and turning them into useful timber. The air here always smells like fresh pine and damp earth. It’s a family-type atmosphere, with just a few of us running the machines and handling the orders. We don’t have a big marketing department or any of that. Most people find us by word of mouth in Vallapuzha. We’ve had the sawmill for a good while, and the equipment is older but it still runs fine if you know how to treat it. Sometimes we have to stop and fix a belt or sharpen a blade, but that’s just part of the routine. We like being near the Majid; it gives a nice rhythm to the day. We provide wood for local homes and shops, nothing too fancy. It’s hard work on the back, but seeing a clean stack of planks at the end of the day makes it worth it. We just keep it simple and focus on the timber we have in front of us.
