Target Communications & Security Solutions

Target Communications & Security Solutions is run out of Chembadam House on Mettupalayam Street. It’s an old street and we’ve seen it change a lot over the years. Our workspace is full of wires, small tools, and boxes of equipment. Most of our time is spent looking at screens or trying to figure out where a specific cable goes. It isn't always clean work. Sometimes we have to crawl into tight spaces or climb ladders to get things set up right. The office is tucked away in the house, so it feels more like a home than a corporate building. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers around here. It’s a quiet enough spot until the morning traffic starts. We usually have coffee in the morning and look over the schedule. There is always a lot of testing involved. We check the sensors and the cameras over and over to make sure they are actually doing what they should. It’s practical work. We don't use big words or try to act like we are bigger than we are. We are just a few people who understand how these systems work and spend our days putting them together. The street outside can get a bit narrow when people park their bikes poorly. We just deal with it. It’s a good place to work from and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. We take lunch when we can and get back to the wiring. It keeps us occupied and the days go by fairly fast.
