We’ve been running Smile And Shine Dental Clinic here in Perintalmanna for some time now. It’s a busy spot. Most days start around nine when we unlock the front door and let the air out. The clinic is right on the main stretch of Perintalmanna, so you can always hear the traffic passing by outside while we work. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular office where we handle whatever walks in. Sometimes people come in with a lot of pain and other times it’s just a quick check. We have a few chairs in the waiting area that have seen better days but they do the job. My desk is usually covered in papers and appointment books because I still prefer writing things down by hand. It’s just easier for me that way. The lights flicker occasionally if the building is having a moment, but we’re used to it. Usually, we take our lunch breaks together when things quiet down around mid-afternoon. There’s a tea shop nearby that we get our snacks from almost every day. It’s a simple routine we’ve got going. People around here know where we are, mostly because of the sign out front that’s faded a bit from the sun. We keep the floor swept and the instruments clean, which is what matters most in a place like this. It’s just us working through the day and trying to keep things organized.
