High Fins

We are over here at Sajaa Complex, right on Vennakkara Road, pretty close to where the KSRTC buses come and go. It’s usually busy around here because of all the traffic. High Fins started because we really liked keeping fish at home and it just turned into a job eventually. We spend a lot of our time cleaning out the glass tanks and making sure the filters are running right. It gets a bit damp in the shop sometimes but that’s just how it is with all these aquariums. We have different kinds of fish, mostly small ones that people like for their living rooms. Sometimes the neighborhood kids stop by just to look at the bright colors after school. It isn't a fancy place. There are usually some boxes sitting in the corner and we might be busy topping up the water when you walk in. We know most of the regulars who live around Vennakkara Road by their first names now. It is a lot of work to keep everything healthy and swimming, but it beats sitting at a desk all day long. If the power goes out, we have to run around a bit to make sure the air pumps stay on for the tanks. That's just part of the daily routine here. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and most people know us by the sign outside. It's just a simple shop where we do our thing and try to keep the fish happy.
