Our place is at number 18 on Sekharipuram Road in Kalpathy. It is an older part of the town, and the road can get a bit narrow when the trucks are coming through. Royal Sand & Gravels Pvt Ltd has been operating from this spot for some time now. The building is an old one, typical for this area of Kalpathy, with those thick walls that keep it somewhat cool even when the sun is beating down on the street. There is always a bit of grit on the floor, which I guess is expected given what we do. We have a couple of desks pushed against the wall and a lot of ledgers piled up. The tea stall just down the road is where we usually get our morning drink. It is a busy street, but people still move at their own pace. Sometimes we just sit on the bench outside when things are slow and watch the cycles go by. We aren't trying to be anything big or flashy. It is just a local business trying to keep things moving. The address is easy to find once you get onto Sekharipuram Road. We deal with a lot of local builders and people fixing up their houses. It is noisy and messy work sometimes, but it is what we know. We close up when it gets dark and the street lights come on. It is just how things go around here in this corner of the world and we don't plan on changing much.
