Paper House

Paper House is located at 7888 in the Paj Complex on Mettuppalayam Street. It’s a busy part of the city and there is always something going on outside the door. The complex itself has a lot of stairs and narrow hallways, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a workout. We spend most of our hours dealing with piles of paper and cardboard. It’s dusty work and by the end of the day, our hands usually show it. We don't have a lot of space for extra things, so every corner of the shop is filled with stock. The street outside is usually lined with bikes and people walking by, making it a bit loud throughout the afternoon. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the back to drown out the traffic noise. The windows haven't been washed in a while, but they let in enough sunlight to work by. We mostly just focus on keeping things in order and making sure the boxes are stacked safely so nothing falls over. It's just a regular local spot where we do our daily work and wait for the delivery trucks to arrive. There isn’t anything fancy about the setup here, just desks and shelves and a lot of heavy lifting. We stay busy with the routine of checking the inventory and keeping the floor clear so people can walk through the space without tripping over bundles.
