Poornima Trading Company

Living and working in Pallipuram Village is quiet compared to the big cities, and Poornima Trading Company fits right in with that pace. We are located at No. 45/ 420 on Single Street. It’s a simple building that serves as our base for all the trading we do. We mostly deal with local goods and supplies that people in the village and surrounding areas need. Our shelves are often packed with whatever is in season or in demand. The floor is a bit uneven and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it serves its purpose. We open early in the morning because that’s when the village starts moving. Most of our work involves unloading crates and keeping a tally of what goes out. It’s not a complicated business model. We just trade what’s available. Single Street isn't very wide, so when a delivery truck comes, things get a bit tight out front. We know everyone on this street, and they know us. Sometimes we spend more time chatting with neighbors than actually moving stock, but that’s part of being in a village like Pallipuram. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just us here, making sure the supplies are ready when someone needs them. It’s a steady way of life and we’ve grown used to the daily routine. We don't plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon because this place feels like home.
