Malabar Traders

We are based out of Ponnani, specifically at 965K, near the Mandapeta area. It’s a general trading business, so we see a bit of everything coming through. One day it’s one thing, the next day it’s something else. That keeps things interesting. The warehouse is a bit of a maze sometimes, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers who are dropping things off. It’s not a glamorous job, just moving goods from one place to another and making sure the numbers add up. Ponnani is a decent place to work. There’s a lot of movement in the streets around us. We don’t have any big corporate goals, just trying to do right by the people we trade with. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but that’s just part of it. We like the rhythm of the day here. Most of the guys working here have lived in the area for a long time. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries. It’s a local operation, and we like it that way. No need for big speeches or fancy logos. We just show up, do the work, and go home. It’s been this way for years, and we’re happy with how things are. We just keep the gates open and the trucks moving.
