We are located at a place called Midhunam in Thekke Palasseri. This is in the Sreekurumbakkavu area, near Kongad in Palakkad, Kerala. It’s a very green and quiet part of the state. Working for a big name like Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd here feels a bit different than it would in a big city like Mumbai. Our office is surrounded by trees and the pace of life is a lot slower. We handle local coordination and some of the paperwork for the company's activities in this region. The building isn't anything fancy, just a local structure that fits in with the houses around here. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy and we have to make sure everything stays dry inside. We know most of the people in the village and they know us. We don't have a big corporate cafeteria, so we usually just go to the local shops for tea and snacks. It’s a simple way of working. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We just make sure the vehicles and the business side of things are taken care of properly for the people in Palakkad. Being based in Kongad means we are close to the farming community, which makes sense for the work we do. It’s just a small team of us here, doing our jobs in this beautiful part of Kerala.
