Lakshmi Hospital

We have been here on Chitoor road for a while now. Most people around here know where Lakshmi Hospital is because it's right on the main stretch. It's not a fancy place, just a regular building where we do our work every day. Usually, the mornings are the busiest when the sun starts coming up and the traffic on Chitoor road gets loud. We have some benches in the front where people sit and wait. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but they keep the air moving. My desk is near the entrance so I see everyone coming and going. It gets dusty because of the road work outside, so we are always wiping things down. Most of the staff live nearby, so we just walk or take a short rickshaw ride to get here. It’s a lot of routine stuff, really. We check people in, they talk to the doctors, and then they go home. We don’t have any big signs or anything, just the name on the front wall. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we have to wait a minute for the backup to kick in. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We keep the place clean as much as we can. There is a small tea stall just down the street where we go for breaks. It’s a simple setup we have here on Chitoor road. It gets the job done and people know where to find us.
