We are up on the second floor of the Koottungal Building. You have to climb some stairs to get to us on Peringode Road. It’s right here in Koottanad. Palakkad can get pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full blast. The room number is II/425J if you’re looking for the exact door. We have been here for a bit, just doing our daily tasks. It’s mostly just sitting at desks and keeping track of things. We see people from all over the area coming in. Some are regulars who have been coming for years. We try to keep the place tidy but with all the files and folders, it can get a bit cluttered. It is a working office, not a showroom. We talk to people about their savings and what they need help with. It’s straightforward work. No one wears suits here; we just dress comfortably for the weather. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit noisy, especially during the market hours. But inside, we just focus on the books. We have a small window that looks out towards the road. It’s nice to see the town moving while we work. If you need to find us, just ask anyone near the Koottanad post office. They usually know where the building is. We don't do much advertising. People just find us through word of mouth. That’s how things work around here. We just show up and do the work.
