Karthika Industries

Karthika Industries is based at 3/1025 in the Industrial Estate P.O. Olavakkode. It’s a pretty standard spot for a small factory like ours. The weather here in Olavakkode can get quite hot, so we have big fans blowing all the time to keep the workshop from becoming unbearable. We spend the majority of our days standing by the machines or sitting at the assembly tables. It’s manual work for the most part, and it can be tiring, but it’s honest. The industrial estate has a lot of other businesses, so there’s always a sense of everyone being busy with their own thing. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to answer the phones with a script. If you call, you’ll probably just talk to one of us who has to step away from a machine to answer. We’ve been at this location for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy. There are some trees near the entrance where we sit during our break to have our tiffin. It’s a simple routine that we’ve followed for years. We don’t try to act like we’re some huge company. We’re just Karthika Industries, working out of our space in Olavakkode and trying to make sure the work we do is finished. It’s not much more complicated than that, and we like it that way. Sometimes the smell of the nearby canteen's cooking drifts over around noon.
