Karakurussi Medical Care Llp is at Door No. X/118, which is right next to the Pavithrathma Convent. This is a very quiet part of Karakurussi, which is nice for a medical facility. We don't have the same noise and bustle that you find in the city hospitals. The building is a simple structure and we have kept it that way over the years. We provide basic medical care to the people living nearby and the members of the convent. It’s a small operation, so we don't have many staff members. Most of us live nearby and we know the local community very well. The waiting area has a few wooden benches and we keep some old magazines there for people to read. During the summer, it can get quite warm, so we keep the windows wide open to catch the breeze from the trees outside. We don't use much high-tech equipment; it’s mostly just the essentials for daily health checks and minor treatments. Sometimes the nuns from the convent stop by with fruit or just to check in on how we are doing. It feels more like a community centre than a formal medical office. We keep our patient records in paper files stored in a big metal cabinet. It’s a slow and steady way of working, but it suits the atmosphere of Karakurussi. We just focus on helping our neighbors stay healthy.
