Genuine Industries.

Genuine Industries is located at House Number 7/197 in Palakkad, Kerala. This part of the country is very green and wet for much of the year, so our office often smells a bit like damp earth and rain. The building is a simple house that we have converted into our workspace, and it sits right in the middle of a regular neighborhood. We do not have a big corporate sign out front, just the house number and a small board on the gate. Inside, the rooms are filled with the sounds of fans whirring and people talking in Malayalam. We are a small team, and everyone knows everyone else’s family stories by now. The work we do is steady, but we do not rush things or try to act like we are bigger than we are. There is a lot of traffic on the main road nearby, but once you step into our yard, things get a bit quieter. We have a few trees on the property that provide some nice shade during the hotter months when the rain finally stops. Lunch is usually a communal affair with everyone bringing something from home, often shared together if there is a bit of extra time. We are just a local industry doing our thing in Palakkad without any desire for fancy titles or polished marketing. It is a simple life and a simple way of doing business in a very beautiful part of the world.
