Essar Constructions (India) Limited

We've been around Palakkad for a while now, specifically over here on Double Street in Sekharipuram Village. It's a quiet enough area but we keep busy with our work. Most days you'll find someone at the office at 6/260, though sometimes we're out at sites across Kerala. People know us as Essar Constructions (India) Limited, but we're just local folks really. The weather can be a bit much sometimes, especially the rain, but the work goes on. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It's just a place where we get the planning done and keep our files in order. Managing projects around here takes a lot of coordination with the local crews and making sure materials show up when they're supposed to. Sometimes things get delayed, that's just how it is in construction, but we try to keep things moving. We've stayed in this same spot for a good bit because it works for us. If you're walking down Double Street, you might miss us if you're not looking, but we're there. We handle a variety of building jobs, mostly dealing with the technical side of things and making sure the structures actually hold up. It's not glamorous work. There's usually a lot of paperwork on the desks and the phone rings more than we'd like. We just focus on getting the day's tasks finished and making sure the guys on the ground know what they're doing. That's pretty much what we do here in Palakkad.
