Esagold & Diamonds Llp is located in Ottappalam, specifically at 2/307S in the Kanichirakkal Mall. It’s on Pattambi Road, which is a main stretch in this part of Palakkad. Being in a mall is a bit different from being on a standalone street. We have neighbors on both sides and there is always music or people talking in the corridors. We deal with gold and diamonds every day. The mall gets a lot of people on the weekends especially. During the week, it’s a bit more relaxed. We have our routine of checking the pieces and making sure everything looks right in the glass cases. Palakkad can get really hot, so being inside the mall is nice for us and the customers. We don’t have any big corporate goals. We just want to sell jewelry and make a living. Most of us here have lived in Ottappalam our whole lives. We know the families around here. It’s a practical business. We don't use big words or try to act like we are better than any other shop. We are just Esagold, sitting right there on Pattambi Road. People come in, they look at the gold, we talk for a bit, and that’s the day. It’s a steady way to live. We’ve been here long enough that the mall security and other shop owners are like our coworkers.
